Clinical Supervisor | LPN Supervisor - Full-Time Position $2,500.00 SIGN-ON BONUS Aspire Senior Living | Oshkosh, WI Aspire Senior Living is hiring immediately as a result of our continuous company growth. Aspire Senior Living is looking to hire an experienced Nurse to join our Clinical and Quality Specialist Nurse to join our corporate support team! Aspire Senior Living’s goals are to enhance residents’ quality of life and to continue its growth and success. Our plan is to open one to two new senior communities per year and develop centers of excellence that provide comfort, care, quality, and specialized dementia services. Reporting to the VP of Clinical & Quality Operations, the Quality and Clinical Specialists’ primary role is to ensure HSL policies and standards are being practiced, state regulations are followed, and infection prevention strategies are implemented.

Requirements

• Valid state of Wisconsin RN licensure
• Must be in good standing on the State Board of Regulation and Licensing
• Three years of nursing experience working with seniors; experience within an assisted living, memory care or other long-term care environment preferred
• Must be self-directed and able to function independently
• Managerial experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to connect with residents, families, and associates
• Strong customer service orientation to older adults, exhibit a caring and compassionate attitude
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions that are in the best interest of the residents and caregivers
• Ability to work collaboratively with all coworkers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be proficient in Microsoft; PointClickCare software experience a plus
• Ability to problem solve and communicate complex issues
• Must submit to all applicable pre-employment and annual tests per state and federal regulations
• Must exhibit a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people

Responsibilities

• Supports adherence to HSL policies and procedures and provides guidance to communities on policy implementation.
• Assists with policy and procedure development and modifications as needed
• Educates, staff, managers and leaders of assigned communities on quality improvement processes
• Works directly with assigned community leadership teams to monitor indicators, dashboards and performance improvement projects.
• Tracks, analyzes and reports on all PIPs to Quality team
• Assists assigned communities with implementing, monitoring and tracking of resident, family and employee satisfaction surveys
• Implements and monitors community action plans
• Facilitates performance initiatives at assigned communities and assists with plans of correction as needed
• Complete quality indicator tracking and trending reports.
• Support community leaders on quality initiatives
• Monitor compliance in accordance to Heritage Senior Living policies, best practice protocols, and state and federal regulatory requirements
• Provide education to staff on electronic health record system to ensure compliance with documentation standard
• Participates in and monitors new company programs and pilots as necessary
• Act as interim DON depending on the needs of the organization
• Manage the training and the onboarding of DONs
• Assist with the Corporate Onboarding which includes, but is not limited to orientation & CBRF trainings
• Partners with the Vice President of Clinical & Quality Operations to develop, implement and evaluate annual infection prevention goals and action plan
• Partners with facility leaders, physicians, local, state, and national agencies on activities related to infection prevention
• Oversees the operations of the infection prevention, epidemiology, industrial hygiene, and relevant safety programs
• Accountable for surveillance of healthcare acquired and community acquired infections
• Ensures that education and counseling on infection prevention is available for staff, volunteers, medical staff, patients and parents.
