About The Position

California-based LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC Great opportunity for eligible California-based LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC professionals to supervise onsite at any of our 9 offices in San Diego. Currently looking for clinical supervisors for the following offices: Murrieta Oceanside Scripps Ranch Mission Valley Santee La Mesa and Eastlake! This is a group private practice and an hourly position. The majority of hours are onsite, but some options for work remote (hybrid). We have both full-time and part-time roles available: Part-time: 8-24 hours per week Full-time (benefit eligible): 25-40 hours per week We are seeking an experienced clinical supervisor focused on outpatient care of high to moderate functioning clients of all ages, and overall clinical supervision and team support to a clinical team. This is both a supervisor and direct care role! Ideal for clinicians who excel in working with diverse client bases and like a large variety of tasks in their days. Long-term growth opportunities within the organization. Great clients and opportunity to lead team, provide consultation for licensed clinicians, and supervise early career therapists. Teamwork is key to top-quality client care. Collaborate with the clinical director team for continuous support and development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 + years of clinical experience required and 2+ years post licensure
  • Must hold a valid license with the BBS as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in California for at least 2 years
  • Invested interest in providing direct care and carrying a caseload across the lifespan
  • Desire to teach and train associate therapists
  • Complete documentation within 72 hours
  • Able to work prime time hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours as needed
  • Proficient computer skills in Google Workspace and EHRs
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new programs, systems, and/or processes
  • General knowledge of office skills, use of office equipment (copier, laser printers, cell phones, computers)
  • Must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication and social skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Proven ability to correctly use punctuation and grammar
  • Possess a high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
  • Professional image and demeanor
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the capacity to handle high volumes of detailed work, multitask, and manage timely documentation
  • Being consistent, punctual, and having reliable attendance
  • Having a strong ability to communicate effectively and work well with others in a collaborative, respectful manner

Responsibilities

  • Supervise associate clinicians
  • Provide exceptional patient care
  • Work with the Clinical Director for consultation and support
  • Consult with licensed clinicians
  • Uphold legal and ethical codes of the profession
  • Provide great client care
  • Provide Supervision to pre-licensed associates
  • Model positivity and continuous support
  • Provide assessments, treatment planning, and care for your own caseload in addition to supervision duties
  • Provide triadic clinical supervision for up to 6 associates, depending on practice needs
  • Review and sign notes for supervisees
  • Provide feedback to the Regional Director for upcoming employee reviews
  • Ensure adherence to all established clinical protocols, procedures, and quality of care standards
  • Collaborates with other departments within the practice to maintain and provide great client care experience for client(s)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the region and the practice
  • Able to answer after-hours or weekend calls of supervisees for emergent situations
  • Provide substitute supervision or coverage for practice as needed
