About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing direct supervision to clinical staff within the division’s Behavioral Health Clinics. The Clinical Supervisor ensures clinical and administrative practices of individual clinicians meets agency expectations.

Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
  • 2+ years of social work experience.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Aptitude for training staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in one or more of the following: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali and others, may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to assigned clinicians ensuring client care is consistent with standards of best practice and meets principles of social work/counseling practice.
  • Provide training to clinicians and interns in the Behavior Health Division on policies, procedures, and application of clinical best practices.
  • Maintain clinical supervision logs to ensure appropriate clinical supervision is provided; conduct chart reviews to assess clinician practice and track and trend patterns of non-compliance with best practice standards; discuss findings and provide training to address identified clinical practice challenges.
  • Provide consultation and support to staff, offer case conferences, as needed including being available for staff to debrief about difficult client situations.
  • Cooperate and assist with incident management requirements, UR/UM and other quality assurance and CQI expectations.
  • Assist Program leadership to meet program goals and objectives.
  • Maintain open and active caseload (number of clients determined with supervisor) and meet productivity and practice expectations. Provide 'Open Access' and intake coverage, as assigned.
  • Supervise and participate in student intern program, as applicable.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
