About The Position
This position has shift accountability in assisting the Manager in providing high quality, cost effective patient care, through the appropriate, direct management of human and fiscal resources. Primary responsibility includes the coordination of department clinical services. Collaboration with other departments is essential. This position functions as the on-site administrative representative during "off shifts", holidays and weekends.
Requirements
- current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse
- minimum of three years clinical experience in the clinical area that they supervise
- demonstrated expert clinical and leadership skills
- PALS and NRP certification is required for Maternal Child Health
- ACLS and PALS are required for PACU
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Nice To Haves
- B.S.N. or Bachelors degree in a health care related field
- prior hospital management experience
- Applicable clinical/administration certification is desirable.
