About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor – CCBHC at Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center utilizes advanced knowledge and skills in evidence-based practices (EBP) to provide clinical supervision of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) staff. This role involves overseeing high-fidelity therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific population served within a CCBHC. The position is responsible for developing and managing clinical care workflows to ensure that clients' mental health and substance use needs are met, while also supporting direct care team members both administratively and clinically. The Clinical Supervisor ensures the utilization of EBPs and adherence to quality measures specific to CCBHC designation.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of clinical experience with one (1) year of clinical experience post-clinical licensure.
  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health or human services field that meets Indiana licensure requirements.
  • Active and unencumbered clinical licensure in the State of Indiana (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license that meets Eskenazi Health’s driving policy requirements.
  • Experience and training to manage therapeutic services for patients receiving opioid treatment medication (for Opioid Treatment Program).
  • Must meet eligibility requirements and maintain Indiana certification as a crisis peer recovery supervisor (for Mobile Crisis Program).
  • Certified in First Aid.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contributes to Eskenazi Health mission: Advocate, Care, Teach and Serve with special emphasis on the vulnerable population of Marion County.

  • Embraces and operates under the Recovery Model, including AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) and motivational interviewing.
  • Provides clinical supervision of staff delivering high-fidelity therapeutic interventions consistent with treatment models.
  • Ensures implementation and utilization of EBPs specific to CCBHC designation.
  • Develops and oversees clinical care workflows to address clients' mental health and substance use needs.
  • Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements for CCBHC regarding client treatment and fidelity standards for EBPs.
  • Consults and provides oversight of crisis prevention planning and risk-related assessments.
  • Maintains expertise in specific EBPs and research-based clinical practices.
  • Teaches EBPs and monitors implementation and fidelity to those practices.
  • Collaborates with psychiatrists and other personnel for treatment service integration.
  • Provides orientation and on-the-job training for team members.
  • Participates in the development and delivery of in-service training opportunities.
  • Works collaboratively with other organizations to ensure continuity of services.
  • Monitors and assesses staff work performance and assists with performance evaluations.
  • Assists team members in preparing documentation and ensures timely completion of all documentation.
  • Develops processes to ensure treatment plans are reviewed and updated as per guidelines.
  • Provides indirect services to external agencies and the community through consultation and education.
  • Meets agency requirements for continuing education.
