About The Position

We are seeking a Catheterization Laboratory Supervisor, sometimes referred to as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Supervisor, Supervisor of Cardiovascular Services or Cath Lab Supervisor. The Cath Lab Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the cardiac catheterization laboratory to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Cath Lab Supervisor’s supervise staff, manage workflow, support complex cardiac procedures, and maintain strict regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements

Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse and or ARRT-R and licensed as required by state.
BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Five (5) years of Cardiovascular Lab experience.
Basic computer knowledge.
Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
Operates Cardiovascular Laboratory equipment; pressure injectors, hemodynamic monitor, cardiac output computer, etc.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day Cath Lab operations including patient flow, room turnover, scheduling, and staffing
Supervise and mentor RNs, ARRT techs, CV techs, and support staff while ensuring competency and adherence to protocols
Coordinate procedures with cardiologists and other departments while preparing rooms, equipment, and supplies for all case types
Monitor and maintain equipment, inventory, and supplies while partnering with vendors and biomedical engineering
Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and AHA/ACC standards along with all hospital policies
Track quality metrics, support education and training, maintain documentation and charge capture, and serve as the communication link between leadership and the clinical team
