The position involves demonstrating and modeling professionalism as a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Direct Support Professional/Registered Behavior Technician (DSP/RBT) with a person-centered and trauma-informed approach. Responsibilities include providing coverage and performing all lead and direct care responsibilities as needed, assisting the Qualified Behavior Modification Professional (QBMP) in overseeing clinical functions of a Community Crisis Home (CCH) and/or Enhanced Behavior Support Home (EBSH), and contributing to the development and implementation of Individual Behavior Support Plans (IBSP). The role also includes conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and facilitating training in Person-Centered Thinking/Planning. The Lead RBT will employ various strategies for skill acquisition and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure the needs of individuals supported are met. Additionally, the position requires conducting competency assessments, participating in clinical review meetings, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
