About The Position

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to help provide clinical oversight of clients receiving Intensive Behavior Services. Responsibilities of BCBA overseeing Intensive Behavior Services: Develops treatment plans that recommend individualized, evidenced based, and focus on reducing challenging behavior, and/or maintaining low rate of challenging behavior by implementing schedules/routines that are client preferred. Help families by modeling the implementation of effective behavior change procedures. (FCT, DRA without Extinction, Toileting programs, schedule thinning/demand fading, etc.) as requested Service funding comes from partnerships with local regional centers to support individuals with developmental disabilities across all ages and disabilities that are eligible for Regional Center services. Provide supervisory oversight to Behavioral direct care staff Monitors treatment progress and effectiveness to update treatment plans to support clients' needs and learning style Program Objectives: Assisting clients with basic self-help needs while promoting highest level of independence Assisting clients with socialization skills, as appropriate Continuing daily routines that the family is currently performing and provide families/caregivers with a break from the duties of care. Requirements

  • Provide an active license or certification in good standing (e.g. Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Behavior Analyst, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Family & Marriage Therapist, or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in the English

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory and behavioral assessment experience preferred
  • Experience providing behavioral services to children, and adults preferred
  • Experience in quality management preferred
