WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR FCMC Our Clinical Supervisor and Intervention Specialist supervises the Habilitative Support Staff in providing services to children with developmental disabilities. Along with their supervisory duties, this role also participates actively in assessing and meeting the needs of children with developmental disabilities. This vital, compassionate care can include: Creating behavior plans/assessments and intervention programs Administering assessments as needed to qualify clients for services Facilitating communication and scheduling with parents, clients, and families Ensuring that other intervention specialists are trained and demonstrate the necessary skills to be able to follow specific behavior plans correctly Organizing schedules of paraprofessionals to coordinate with client hours Assisting in program growth through marketing efforts

Requirements

  • College degree in Human Services (such as Speech Therapy, Music Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Family and Human Development, and related degrees)
  • Current Habilitative Intervention License from Idaho
  • One thousand forty hours of supervised experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Required to stand, walk, and sit
  • Must be able to operate a computer
  • Occasionally required to lift or carry up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities
