About The Position
Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President, Clinical Services and in collaboration with the program administrators for the Adult Inpatient Service, the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Service, the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program, and the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) is responsible for the overall management of the Activity Therapy program for these services and in the discharge planning process.
Requirements
- Five years experience in a mental health inpatient setting required
- Two years experience in a child and adolescent setting including program management and development.
- Licensed Master Social Worker or ACSW
- Master of Arts in Creative Arts Therapy or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated people management skills
- Must be computer literate, and familiar with scheduling software
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of all Social Work staff and other staff as assigned.
