Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead a newly established ACT Team serving Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, NC. This is a unique opportunity to guide a medium-sized, multidisciplinary team and play a key role in expanding services, with a projected census of approximately 60 clients. This role blends clinical leadership, supervision, and hands-on therapeutic work in a community-based, recovery-oriented setting. Our services include Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Cross-Area Services, and Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) programs. About the ACT Team The Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) provides intensive, community-based services for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness who are at high risk for psychiatric crisis. Services are delivered throughout Winston-Salem and Forsyth County and address psychiatric care, therapy, substance use treatment, vocational support, and housing stability. As a new and growing team, this program is designed to scale to a census of approximately 60 clients, offering the opportunity to build team culture, workflows, and clinical excellence from the ground up. Position Summary The ACT Team Clinical Supervisor provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for the ACT program. This role partners closely with psychiatric providers and program leadership to ensure high-quality, recovery-oriented services. The ideal candidate is a licensed clinician who enjoys leading a team while maintaining a clinical caseload in a community-based environment.

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina license (or eligibility) as one of the following:
  • LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
  • LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use services
  • Strong understanding of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and community-based care models

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience working with severe and persistent mental illness
  • Previous ACTT or intensive community-based treatment experience
  • Experience helping launch or grow clinical programs
  • Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary clinical teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the ACT Team in collaboration with psychiatric providers
  • Supervise, coach, and support a multidisciplinary team, including scheduling and clinical operations
  • Help guide team growth, development, and service expansion as census increases
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of services, including case management, individual, group, and family therapy
  • Participate actively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to individualized treatment and discharge planning
  • Facilitate clear communication among staff, clients, families, referral sources, and community partners
  • Maintain strong relationships with referral sources, payors, stakeholders, and TMACT representatives
  • Ensure compliance with ACTT fidelity standards, regulatory requirements, and Pyramid Healthcare policies
  • Perform additional duties to support program success
