About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for a short-term coverage assignment at a behavioral health facility in the Johnstown, CO area. This role will support pharmacy operations, medication verification, dispensing, and Pyxis management in collaboration with the facility’s pharmacy leadership. Assignment Details: Coverage Dates: April 29 – May 5 Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm On-call required after hours and weekends
Requirements
- Active Colorado Pharmacist License (in good standing)
- Acute inpatient behavioral health experience required
- Experience with HCS order entry preferred
- Experience with Pyxis ES preferred (training available)
Responsibilities
- Order verification
- Medication dispensing to units/Pyxis
- Pyxis troubleshooting/support
- Clinical decision support for medical staff
