About The Position

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to the patients of Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center through monitoring of drug therapies, interaction with other individuals of the healthcare team and the education of staff, patients and their family members.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree preferred.
• Completion of a post-graduate residency preferred.
• Previous health system experience preferred.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Ability to set priorities and make critical decisions.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency requests.
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
