How you’ll make an impact in this role Pharmacist in Charge - Core Pharmacy Responsibilities: Ensure accurate medication management (selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing). Review medication orders to proactively prevent and resolve drug-related issues. Recommend clinically appropriate, cost-effective, formulary alternatives. Prepare and compound medications for precise, timely patient delivery. Serve as the primary drug information source and educate staff and patients. Communicate with physicians and clinicians to ensure seamless patient care. Supervisory and Academic Duties: Manage remote dispensing sites. Supervise technical staff in medication and supply preparation, inventory, and dispensing. Contribute to academic programs, potentially precepting pharmacy students. Flexible Coverage and Patient Care: Provide required patient counseling. Float to various areas to maintain comprehensive pharmacy coverage.

Requirements

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
