About The Position

The Clinical Specialist at Abbott plays a crucial role in supporting the Electrophysiology (EP) business by providing engineering, sales, educational, and technical support related to EP products. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience.
  • Ability to become certified on EP products.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the cardiac pacing and related industries.
  • Knowledge of cardiology and electro-physiology procedures.
  • Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in clinical studies or data collection.
  • Previous experience in training or educational roles within the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering, sales, educational, and technical support in response to inquiries from physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
  • Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
  • Provide insight and feedback to management on market trends and product development.
  • Provide regional EP procedural case coverage and support EP Sales Representatives in various areas.
  • Assist in advanced educational seminars and preparation of educational materials.
  • Stay current on developments in the field and maintain knowledge of company and competitor products.
