Day in the Life … The Clinical Specialist is responsible for primary clinical support in assisting sales representatives to develop new sales opportunities and accounts with physician and hospital accounts. Provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, patient care, installation and maintenance of company products. Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and staff at assigned clinical sites by providing a high level of service and responsiveness by providing ongoing education and clinical expertise regarding the use of the company’s products. Possess and share superior clinical knowledge of the Company’s products, their clinical applications, instructions for use and procedural techniques. Provide technical and educational training to physicians and staff on the use of the company’s products. Provide case support, including Operating Room/Procedure support. Work with sales, marketing, and R & D personnel to communicate product, clinical and market information to appropriate Saluda personnel to support and develop product improvements. Serve as primary resource for clinical support including, but not limited to: troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products. Perform patient follow-up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted products. Develop and maintain business relationships with hospital personnel. Visit customers and patients in a clinical environment (hospitals, operating rooms, clinics and surgical centers).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment
  • 3+ years of experience in implantable medical devices
  • Operating room experience
