About The Position

Laurel Heights Hospital is a 112-bed facility located in Atlanta Ga. We are dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric, behavioral disorders and autism. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment. Much more online at http://www.laurelheightshospital.com The CLINICAL SPECIALIST will be responsible for: • Clinical Documentation Audits (experience with HBIPs and CMS audits helpful), Follow-up and Education • Monthly Documentation Compliance Reports • Program Quality Monitoring (observations of groups, following schedule, etc), data input and monthly compliance reports • Facilitate Corporate Compliance (except for complaint responses) • Clinical Programming for MHAS (Identify evidence-based programming for aggression and facilitate implementation). Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a counseling, licensed clinician preferred (LCSW, LPC)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in RTC setting
  • Successful completion of CPR certification, age-specific training and the current patient aggression management training within 90 days of employment.
