The Clinical Specialist Rehab must be a licensed Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist. This individual is responsible for evaluating, planning, educating, utilizing exercises and physical modalities in the treatment and rehabilitative of persons who have medical problems, health related conditions, or a developmental disability that limits their ability to move or perform functional activities according to their discipline specific scope of care. The Clinical Specialist Rehab also helps prevent conditions associated with loss of mobility and promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability to help individuals achieve healthy and active lifestyles. The Clinical Specialist Rehab assists in program management responsibilities. Some travel may be required in the provision of services between facilities and job functions.
