As a non-profit organization, our dedicated team of professionals, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, works to diagnose and treat all types of mental illness. As a Clinical Specialist at Cumberland County Guidance Center, you will immerse yourself in a collaborative environment, participating in daily team meetings and case reviews while delivering individual and group counseling through evidence-based approaches. Your expertise will be essential in providing emergency mental health assessments and consulting with medical staff on client medication needs. You’ll take an active role in educating and supporting clients’ families and support systems, ensuring a holistic approach to care. Regular assessment of client progress, along with coordination with community providers and facilitating transportation services, will empower clients on their journey toward independence. Additionally, you'll share in the on-call rotation with PACT team members and engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those you serve.

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a human services discipline (social work psychology or related field)
Minimum of two (2) years of post-bachelor's experience in the provision of mental health services specifically working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness
Knowledge of community resources and agencies
Possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five-year driving record that meets organizational standards and qualifies for insurance coverage.
Clear Five year driving record/abstract with ability to be insured by organizations carrier.
