Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation and Performance team is seeking a Clinical Specialist level orthopedic physical therapist to join our team. Our dynamic out patient settings offer the opportunity for the physical therapist to practice in a variety of environments. To qualify, you must have a minimum of 5+ years of outpatient clinical expertise with an emphasis in differential diagnosis, examination and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities; both non-operative and post-operative. An APTA certification such as OCS and/or SCS or certifications in manual therapy are required. NY State licensure is also a requirement. Experience in presenting in local/national professional programs is required. Direct access experience is preferable. Along with clinical expertise, this position requires strong communication, team building, mentoring and leadership skills. The candidate will be a dynamic self-starter and have excellent customer service skills. Competitive salary is commensurate with experience and includes an excellent benefits package.
