About The Position

This role focuses on developing technical and clinical expertise through hands-on support of manual and robotic procedures (based on needs of the territory). Responsibilities include assisting with pre-operative planning, case preparation, and account coordination, while building foundational customer relationships. The role involves shadowing experienced team members, supporting product demonstrations, and learning key systems and processes. On-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as determined by territory needs, to address urgent technical needs and ensure continuous customer support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 0-2 years of experience; or associate’s degree plus 4 years of professional and/or related experience; or High school diploma plus 6 years of professional and/or related experience.
  • Training Required: JR 101 & JR 201 MTK, MTH, MPK and JR 301, based on clinical needs of territory
  • Annual renewal of Mako re-certifications, based on clinical needs of the territory

Responsibilities

  • Gain competency in solo case coverage, including troubleshooting and managing basic technical components through hands-on learning and supervised case participation for manual and robotic procedures.
  • Learn software for pre-operative CT scans and assist surgeons with implant planning, sizing, and positioning.
  • Shadow and support daily account coordination, manage inventory, instrumentation, and complete total case preparation.
  • Assist with account administration tasks and contribute to product demonstrations and lab logistics.
  • Build foundational relationships with customers through active participation in account management and support.
  • Engage in cross-training and collaborate with clinical and sales teams to enhance skills and support broader team effectiveness.
  • Complete required trainings and certifications, as determined by territory needs, to maintain a high level of expertise in product and clinical applications.
