About The Position

The Clinical Specialist in Electrophysiology (EP) at Abbott plays a crucial role in providing engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for EP products. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience.
  • Ability to become certified on EP products.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in cardiac pacing and related industries.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology and electro-physiology procedures.
  • Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocols.
  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and concentrate on detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent software for developing presentation materials.

  • Experience in clinical studies or data collection.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitor products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering, sales, educational, and technical support for EP products in response to field inquiries.
  • Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
  • Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
  • Provide regional EP procedural case coverage and back-up support to EP Sales Representatives.
  • Assist in advanced educational seminars and preparation of educational materials.
  • Stay current on developments in the field, regulatory requirements, and competitor products.
  • Resolve problems and facilitate resolutions to prevent recurrence.
