The Solutions Architect is responsible for c learly communicating complex and technical product information as well as technical IT and networking information to a variety of customer stakeholders. In addition, they will serve as a technical expert for digital pathology hardware (scanners) and related software products. A Solutions Architect is also responsible for maintaining current knowledge of competition and market through study of competitive marketing information, competitive literature, and field surveillance of competition. This position reports to the Senior Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Pathology Imaging team l ocated in the Southeast United States, and will be working remotely to cover the Mid-Atlantic territories .

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of three years of medical imaging or devices sales and support experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with complex IT infrastructure in Healthcare settings.
  • Ability to travel – Travel overnight as necessary (estimated at 50%) for all pre- and post-sales activities, such as customer appointments, trade shows and customer training.
  • Customer call activity will be a balance of existing customers accounts to expand our current base, meeting with active opportunities and prospecting for new opportunities in the assigned geography
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stand, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, bend, talk and hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory.
  • Execute product demonstrations for clients at the correct sales stage in SFDC, maintaining a closed/won success rate of >60%.
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance
