Clinical Social Worker School Based
About The Position
FULL TIME-DAYS SCHOOL-BASED, CLINICAL THERAPIST Scope of Work The Teen Center Clinical Social Worker collaborates with members of an interdisciplinary team to assist patients and families with complex psychosocial needs. Corewell School Based Health Centers and Expanding, Enhancing Emotional Health Programs are located on school grounds. Cornwell’s Teen Health Center-Taylor is a school linked program which is free-standing. Staff members work closely with school administration to provide interventions to students during the school day. These interventions may include, but are not exclusive to clinical therapy, crisis intervention, group therapy, and psychoeducation groups. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work or clinical counseling
- Experience with youth in clinical therapy and crisis intervention.
- State of Michigan Social Work License (LMSW) or (LPC)
