Under the general supervision of the Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Programs manager and as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, the primary clinician’s duties include but are not limited to providing transitional and comprehensive mental health services including case management, group and individual therapy, family psychotherapy, and crisis intervention, to a caseload of adults who are high risk for psychiatric hospitalization. Incumbent will complete psychosocial/functional assessments, mental status examinations, comprehensive treatment plan development and discharge planning. Coordinate treatment among various agencies and advocate for client to link with needed resources. Work with treatment team and inpatient/outpatient units to facilitate referrals and service. Attend staff meetings and treatment planning meetings. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $79.07 - $79.07 (Hourly Rate).
