About The Position

Implement and administer policies, programs and activities. Responsible for performing psychosocial assessments on families ability to meet their child's healthcare needs. Ensure the preparation and maintenance of required documentation per accreditation standards and CMC's policy. This job is an hourly version of exempt role 2054; typically used for part-time or PRN assignments.

Requirements

  • State of Texas LMSW license Required
  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Required

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years previous Social Work experience Preferred
  • At least 4 years related experience Preferred
  • State of Texas LCSW license Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Specialize in helping families adjust to acute and ongoing medical stressors
  • Providing psychosocial assessments on families' ability to meet their child's healthcare needs
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Coordinating with CPS and Law Enforcement
  • Responding to trouble pages and covering inpatient floor needs that come up
