About The Position

We are currently recruiting new part time Bilingual English/Spanish LMSW clinicians to join our Bronx-Based Article-31 Mental Health Clinic, VIDA Guidance Center. This role serves as a part time therapist, providing individual therapy to children, adults, and families. Part Time commitment is between 12-16 hours per week with a regular weekly commitment to work shifts falling within the operations hours of the center (Hours falling between Monday to Thursday 9a-8p, Fridays 9a-5p, and Saturdays 9a-2p)

Requirements

Master's Degree in Social Work required.
NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Bilingual English and Spanish required.
Proficiency with evidence-based modalities.
2 years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.

Responsibilities

Completes documentation in accordance with OMH regulations.
Monitors treatment plans for patients.
Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
Conducts individual psychotherapy
Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
Provides consultation to medical providers.
Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
Participates in clinical team meetings.
