About The Position

The Clinical Social Worker provides psychosocial evaluation and treatment services to patients and families with complex needs in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. This role includes providing direct support in the Neurology Department requiring familiarity and comfort with fast-paced, high-acuity environments and psychosocial complexity. Coordinates services with the interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care.

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience as a social worker in a medical setting working with children, youth, and families.
• Master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or equivalent accreditation.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• License as a Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW) is preferred.
• Non-licensed social worker is expected to register as a Clinical Social Worker-Associate (ASW) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and actively pursue licensure.
• Application process for CCS paneling will be completed within the first 90 days of hire.
