About The Position

Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients/inmates in a residential, home, inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (SNAMHS) is recruiting for Clinical Social Worker 2. This position will be located in Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital in Las Vegas.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the delivery of professional services
• Responsibility for staff coverage, space and equipment needs
• Budget development and monitoring
• Developing policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, program guidelines, and agency policy
• Participating in treatment planning and implementation by attending treatment team meetings, case conferences, or client sessions
• Reporting direct observations regarding client progress and recommending changes in the treatment plan as appropriate
• Evaluating necessary daily living skills and educational and vocational service needs
• Developing and coordinating treatment plans and implementing interventions with clients to achieve treatment goals
