About The Position

Sleep Better Austin is a growing Dental Sleep Medicine practice dedicated to changing lives by helping patients breathe and sleep better. With six convenient locations in Kyle, South Austin, Central Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Temple, our mission is to provide exceptional care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. We are looking for a candidate that is comfortable traveling, primarily to our north offices (Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Killeen). Travel across all six office locations is required, and flexibility is essential. We are expanding and looking for the right team member who wants to grow with us and make a meaningful impact. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient education, enjoys working hands-on in a clinical setting, and is flexible with travel between offices. Travel to all locations is required, with most time spent at our north offices (Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Temple).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to travel between all six locations (required)
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, and occasionally lean or kneel

Nice To Haves

  • Dental assisting experience preferred but not required
  • Experience taking impressions (PVS or digital scanning) strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with patient education and communication
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients on sleep apnea and its impact on overall health
  • Review and explain treatment options, including oral appliance therapy
  • Take accurate PVS and/or digital impressions (TRIOS 3Shape or iTero Scanner preferred)
  • Fit and adjust oral appliances
  • Assist patients with financial arrangements and payment options
  • Follow up with patients, internal team members, and referring physicians
  • Support clinical and operational workflow across all locations
