Here's what you can expect as a Sr. Manager, Clinical Services at DaVita: Identify specific training needs within the division and implement action plans to meet those Assist in corporate and/or division initiatives and special projects as assigned Participate as a member of the Division’s Operations Management Team in development of strategic direction and to ensure the development of outcome programs to support the direction Participate in the divisional operations review process and provide reports with analysis as requested Allocate resources according to divisional priorities Travel required: up to 50% Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide coaching and leadership including effective performance feedback Develop and conduct educational programs to keep teammates up-to-date on DaVita policies, new laws and regulations impacting work, and other information necessary to maintain teammates’ knowledge of department processes and goals Facilitate teammate development (coaching, mentoring, DaVita training, outside training); ESSENTIAL BEHAVIORS, SKILLS, AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION: Willingness and desire to create a team learning environment Demonstrated ability to provide a balance to department efficiency and field service excellence Willingness to assist teammates in order to achieve departmental goals Demonstrated strengths in teambuilding and leadership skills Supervisory experience demonstrating willingness, desire, ability and aptitude for coaching, mentoring, training, and developing teammate performance and skills to foster a positive, fulfilling work environment Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teammates Ability to maintain open and clear communication with teammates Passion for quality care and individual team members’ roles in the provision of care Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at all levels across the company Approachable and open Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully Demonstrated strengths in organizational, attention-to-detail, analytical, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills Demonstrated proficiency in consultative skills when addressing complex inquiries Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities concurrently with shifting time frames, and meet deadlines; self-starter with high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow through Ability to delegate appropriately

  • Ability to delegate appropriately
  • Current license as LPN or RN in state of practice or current status as Registered Dietitian required
  • Education commensurate with above licensure/registration
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ nephrology experience required
  • Experience in CQI methodology and techniques required
  • Experience in teaching the adult learner strongly preferred with demonstrated ability to communicate technical/medical information in lay terms as necessary
  • Scheduling flexibility and ability to travel required
  • Current driver’s license in state of residence and insurable driving record required
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to create presentations and use the Internet effectively

Nice To Haves

  • five (5) years’ experience preferred
  • DWOM attendance preferred
  • Held a divisional lead role successfully preferred
  • CNN or CDN, Bonent certification within two years of employment strongly preferred
