Hospital of University of Pennsylvania is seeking an experience operating room nurse for a Clinical Service Line Coordinator for our Urology (Open & Laparoscopic procedures) and Orthopedic Oncology (Joints & Tumor resection) operating rooms. This is a day shift, 4 - 10 hour shifts, 6a-4:30p (variable as needed). Apply today! The newly created role is part of the Periop Nursing Leadership team, and the candidate must collaborate with clinical, technical and business professionals across all disciplines. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, coordination of all operational activities for a clinical service line(s). This includes collaboration with the OR Nurse Manager, Attending Surgeons and other surgical staff, Instrument Processing Manager, Materials Management Staff and vendors to develop and manage all aspects of patient care, utilization of departmental personnel, fiscal responsibility and material resources.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • A minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Graduate of an NLN approved school of professional nursing.
  • Currently licensed as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in the OR (scrubbing & circulating).
  • Preferred experience in Urology and Orthopedics (scrubbing & circulating).

Responsibilities
