We are seeking a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator RN to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to optimize and coordinate the surgery department schedule, ensuring we best serve our patients, provider, and community. The position involves no call, no weekends, and no holidays, with competitive pay and a supportive, collaborative team environment. The work-life balance is emphasized with a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:45am to 4:15pm. The role requires floating between Allen County Regional hospital and Anderson County Hospital, functioning independently and serving as an agent to improve customer service and provide a layer of safety throughout the scheduling process. Responsibilities include delegating tasks appropriately, training new employees, and ensuring customer service and safety in scheduling for hospital patients at ACH and ACRH. The coordinator will assess and develop a scheduling plan, review it with the multidisciplinary team, and implement it to ensure patients are scheduled correctly. Regular evaluation of the scheduling process is required to ensure patient safety, along with performing pre-anesthesia phone calls to review health history, place necessary orders, and answer questions.
