This role provides clinical training to various groups such as Sales Representatives, Tech Teams, Merit employees, Cath lab and Radiology staff, and physicians on all Merit products. The Clinical Sales Specialist will answer clinical questions, work with Sales Representatives in the field or customers for evaluations and consultations, and follow up on product evaluations and complaints. They will establish relationships with lab staff, physicians, Sales Representatives, and customers, and may document clinical details of customer complaints. The specialist may also attend meetings to determine regulatory notifications, act as a liaison between labs/customers and Sales Representatives, and conduct assessment testing to develop training curriculums. They will conduct ongoing staff training, provide clinical feedback, and support clinicians in the field, including troubleshooting product issues. The role may involve assisting with new product rollouts, providing information on new technologies, and developing product training and procedural materials. They may also develop programs for labs to obtain CEU credits and work with the T.I.A. Department to improve existing products and develop new ones. Presentations at regional and national meetings may also be required.
