About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for mother and baby based on HMNH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS provider card
- Current NRP provider card
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Minimum 2 years recent mother baby experience
- Knowledge of Baby friendly initiatives with supporting education documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Problem solving skills
- Basic computer skills Self-directed and able to function independently
Nice To Haves
- STABLE class preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
- National certification preferred.
