We are seeking an experienced Clinical RN Director who is passionate about leadership, patient safety, and operational excellence and who wants to make a lasting impact on both patients and the clinicians who serve them. The Clinical RN Director is responsible for the day‑to-day clinical and operational oversight of our ambulatory surgical services. Reporting directly to the ASC Administrator, this role serves as a key member of the leadership team—driving clinical excellence, patient safety, staff engagement, and operational efficiency. This leader will collaborate closely with physicians, administrators, and clinical staff to promote fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and an exceptional patient experience throughout the perioperative continuum. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse leader with ASC, OR, and clinical management experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and is motivated by mission‑driven work.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Director, Nurse Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Strong background in: Ambulatory surgery or procedural settings Clinical supervision and staff development Program management and operational oversight
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and patient management systems
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues, manage change, and lead collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for daily operations of the operating room and clinical services
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, patient flow, and patient experience
  • Ensure delivery of safe, high‑quality, evidence‑based care
  • Develop and execute clinical department strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Oversee budgeting, resourcing, and fiscal accountability
  • Participate in policy development, revision, and implementation
  • Assign cases and develop staff schedules to support safe and efficient operations
  • Provide coaching, feedback, performance evaluations, and corrective action when necessary
  • Support ongoing education, clinical competency, and professional development
  • Oversee staff credentialing and competency validation
  • Monitor compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements
  • Lead preventative safety initiatives and risk management activities
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
