About The Position

Position Highlights: Position: Clinical RN Coordinator - Immediate Care Location: 15 S McHenry Rd, Buffalo Grove Full Time: 40hrs Hours: Clinic Hours are 8-8 M-F, Weekend/Holidays 8-4p. Weekend and holiday on-call, rotating Required Travel: yes - oversees 2 sites What you will do: Provide clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff within the unit. Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols, safety standards, and the delivery of high-quality care. Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff. Manage staff schedules, assignments, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Oversee the delivery of patient-centered care within the unit. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans, address patient inquiries, and resolve concerns promptly. Lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit. Participate in audits and compliance efforts, identify areas for enhancement, and implement corrective actions to improve patient outcomes. Efficiently manage unit resources, including staffing, supplies, equipment, and budget allocation. Monitor and control expenses while maintaining high care standards. Ensure strict adherence to all state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures, within the unit. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant care environment. Facilitate ongoing education and training for unit nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge. Stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare and clinical practices. Oversee the accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and interventions within the electronic health record system. Collaborate with other departments, including physicians, care coordination teams, and ancillary services, to coordinate patient care and enhance the patient experience. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Nursing - Required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) - Required
  • BLS – Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) - American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - Required
  • ACLS certification - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) - Required

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree Nursing or Health Administration - Preferred
  • 3 years clinical nursing experience, with a minimum of 2 yrs supervisor or leadership role - Preferred.
