Job Summary The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost effective patient care.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
  • BLS required, ACLS Preferred
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an acute care hospital required
  • Moderate periods of time exposed to CRT screen.
  • Ability to complete documentation, manipulate equipment (i.e. physical therapy modalities, whirlpool, computer), and complete direct patient care.
  • External and internal applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential job functions (listed within each job specific responsibility) either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined by the organization on a case by case basis.
  • Other requirements will depend on type of unit and/or current needs of the unit.

Nice To Haves
