Under the general supervision of the Client Care Coordinator and/or Care Team Manager, and while demonstrating a commitment to the vision, mission, values and strategic priorities of Prairie Mountain Health, the Clinical Resource Nurse is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of patient/resident/client care by: providing expert nursing care to residents; guiding nursing staff and Health Care Aides; performing charge nurse functions; advancing nursing practice; networking with physicians and performing other related duties as assigned. Nurse III's recognize and fulfill their professional responsibilities by practicing in a manner consistent with professional obligations to take actions as per the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, The College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Psychiatric Nurses, and the scope to practice as defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA), and other Provincial and Federal legislation.
