The Clinical Research Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting clinical research activities within the HDFCCC under the guidance of the Clinical Research Support Office Director. Responsibilities encompass operational support, protocol review and monitoring, and quality control measures. It offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with diverse faculty and staff across the HDFCCC, including those in regulatory affairs, study operations, and scientific review. This role is vital for ensuring the seamless operation of clinical studies, assisting investigators, and upholding regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrates strong leadership abilities coupled with excellent communication skills. The candidate will apply professional concepts to conduct analytical studies or projects of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, research and procedural issues. Must be able to fully analyze issues and problems, gather data and information, find and evaluate alternatives and make sound recommendations. They should be adept at optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance. This position requires the ability to cultivate robust relationships with various departments across UCSF to effectively support clinical research initiatives at the HDFCCC. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $154,600 (Annual Rate).
