About The Position

As one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations in the world, we have four Early Phase Clinical Research Units in the UK and US. We are seeking a Clinical Research Pharmacist II who will play a critical role in supporting clinical trials by ensuring the safe and compliant preparation and dispensing of investigational compounds. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with sponsors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams while driving process improvements and maintaining the highest standards in pharmaceutical research. This is a full-time, office-based position in Dallas, TX. If you join us, you will work with some of the world´s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of a new drug. WHAT YOU WILL DO You will utilize your skills, knowledge, and clinical judgement to provide a high standard of clinical research.

Requirements

  • Registered Pharmacist or PharmD in applicable state. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • 5+ years of pharmacy experience. Hospital setting preferred.
  • 2+ years in clinical research.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP standards (GMP, GCP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on pharmaceutical aspects of clinical trials.
  • Oversee all phases of pharmacy-related study conduct with minimal oversight.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, pharmacy manuals, and compliance processes.
  • Liaise with sponsors and regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to GxP standards.
  • Support feasibility reviews, cost analysis, and sourcing of pharmacy materials.
  • Maintain pharmacy facilities, equipment, and safe working practices.
  • Provide technical guidance to clinical teams and assist with training programs.
  • All other duties as needed or assigned.
