We are actively hiring an Infusion Nurse at the Flourish Research site in Charlotte! The Infusion Nurse is responsible for performing IV infusions of blinded and unblinded study drugs, obtaining blood specimens from participants, and maintaining accurate source documentation to uphold the integrity and reliability of clinical trial data. This role involves working with site leadership, principal investigators, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Flourish Research's standards, federal regulations, and sponsor protocols. Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5 PM, occasional Fridays from 8 AM - 12 PM Location: 10801 Monroe Rd, Suite 100, Matthews, NC 28105 Compensation: $66,000-$87,360/year ($32-$42.00/hr) + monthly bonus potential Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) with 4% match, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, referral program, employee assistance program, life insurance, disability insurance, and 15 days of PTO + 10 company holidays.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active license.
Nursing license must be in good standing.
Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical research experience preferred.
Proficiency in IV infusion and phlebotomy required.
Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and align with operational teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer proficiency, including Office 365 products.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
Ability to think independently and influence decisions when appropriate.

Nice To Haves

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of clinical research methods preferred.
Experience reviewing and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, including risk assessment and impact analysis.
Demonstrated experience with process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Perform IV infusions of both blinded and unblinded investigational products in accordance with study protocols.
Obtain blood specimens and other biological samples from study participants using proper clinical procedures.
Ensure accurate, complete, and timely source documentation in compliance with GCP and sponsor guidelines.
Monitor study participants for adverse events and report findings in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
Maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of study data and participant information.
Collaborate effectively with investigators, study coordinators, and other clinical staff to ensure protocol adherence.
Participate in required training sessions and maintain current knowledge of clinical trial procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions (verbal, written, and appearance) with staff, clients, and vendors.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
