About The Position

The Clinical Research Manager will provide management of clinical research operations, including quality management, personnel management, regulatory compliance, as well as collaborating with Principal Investigators and study coordinators for management of research studies. Acts as liaison between the CMRI, Divisions, and sponsors of the clinical research (eg. pharmaceutical companies, NIH, foundations) program as relates to day-to-day operations. Utilizes experiences and knowledge as a resource to enhance the research capabilities and accomplishments of study teams. Applies knowledge of regulations, guidance, and Good Clinical Practices (GCP), including the protection of human research participants with particular emphasis on pediatrics, reporting requirements for adverse events, elements of informed consent and assent, local laws, policies, and procedures that govern the performance of clinical research activities. Requirements

  • Master's Degree preferred and 5-7 years experience Five (5) to seven (7) years of clinical research experience with five (5) years of clinical research operations experience. Supervisory / management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years experience Seven (7) to ten (10) years of clinical research experience with five (5) years of clinical research operations experience. Supervisory / management experience preferred.
  • ACRP-PM Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals- Project Manager OR Required Upon Hire
  • ACRP-MDP Assoc of Clinical Research Professionals - Medical Device Professional Required Upon Hire
  • If RN, refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
