About The Position

- Collect, organize, and maintain patient information and clinical data for ongoing research projects. Assist in study design, protocol development, IRB submissions, and regulatory compliance. Perform data analysis and contribute to interpretation of results. Draft abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for submission to peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Mentor and support medical students and residents involved in clinical research projects, providing guidance on methodology, data collection, and writing. Collaborate with faculty investigators and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely progress of research initiatives. Participate in departmental academic activities such as journal clubs, case conferences, and research meetings.

Requirements

  • MD, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree (or advanced postgraduate training in medicine or surgery).
  • Strong interest in clinical research, academic medicine, and scholarly productivity.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for working with students, residents, and faculty.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, STATA, SAS) is desirable.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in research, biostatistics, or scientific writing preferred but not required.
