The Clinical Research Fellow is a clinically focused role that supports patient care while contributing to IU Health’s academic and research mission. This position works closely with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to support patient evaluation, documentation, care coordination, and clinical decision‑making. In parallel, the Fellow assists with selected clinical research activities aligned with patient care initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and outcomes‑based studies. This role is designed to strengthen clinical exposure, enhance understanding of evidence‑based practice, and support the integration of research into real‑world clinical care. The Clinical Research Fellow plays an important role at the intersection of patient care, clinical education, and research. This position supports daily clinical workflows while contributing to research and quality initiatives that enhance patient outcomes. The Fellow works within fast‑paced clinical environments and collaborates across multidisciplinary teams, balancing hands‑on clinical support with research‑aligned responsibilities.
