The Clinical Research Coordinator will support the planning, programming, and execution of clinical research projects and protocols for the Air Force's 59th Medical Wing. This role involves maintaining study records, assisting with study enrollment, coordinating multiple projects, managing research information, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position is integral to advancing clinical and translational research in emergency medical care and other health-related areas for Air Force personnel and beneficiaries.

  • Maintain study records in accordance with protocols and study schedules.
  • Assist with study enrollment and activities related to the conduct of human research studies.
  • Coordinate multiple simultaneous projects for the Principal Investigator (PI) or director.
  • Confer with investigators on experimental design and provide instruction on research techniques.
  • Organize research information and manage reporting and data collection.
  • Monitor research study budget and recommend purchases for projects/protocols.
  • Document all regulatory research and administrative actions to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver required reports and other research documentation to the PI.
  • Build study files, develop schedules, and create presentation graphics to support research studies.
  • Utilize software systems for accounts tracking, publication submissions, and preparation of forms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of clinical research experience.
  • Knowledge of CFR, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
  • Demonstrated FDA regulatory experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills, particularly with Excel and Microsoft Office Software.
  • Must complete CITI training within 6 months of hire and keep current.
  • Completed GCP training and familiarity with GCP in practice.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a favorable T3 security investigation.
