The General Hospital Corporation Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator to assist with NIMH- and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-funded studies. The research focuses on self-injury and depression among youth, specifically improving short-term risk prediction for suicidal behavior in adolescents. Studies utilize computational methods to model neurocognitive markers and ambulatory indices (mobile technology including actigraphy, passive sensing of physiological arousal, social engagement, physical activity, and ecological momentary assessment) in psychiatrically hospitalized youth. Additional studies involve employing computer vision to identify visual indicators of suicide risk among adolescents. The coordinator will work under the mentorship of Dr. Richard Liu and Dr. Taylor Burke at Massachusetts General Hospital. This position is particularly well suited for individuals seeking to gain research and clinical experience prior to graduate or medical school.
