Works under the direction of an Investigator(s) with general supervision, to coordinate research projects. This position primarily performs patient/participant coordination, however, may conduct data management in smaller departments on as needed basis. Collects and ensures quality control of clinical or basic research data in support of multiple and/or complex research studies. As a Clinical Research Coordinator at UT Southwestern, you will have the opportunity to join a team of the top cancer specialists in the country and be a part of our innovative therapies, cutting-edge research, and life changing clinical trials. The Clinical Research Coordinator will manage all patient activity on clinical oncology trials for the SCCC clinical trials at Parkland Hospital's Moody Outpatient Center Oncology. This role interfaces with physicians and patients seeking to participate in treatment trials for their cancer. The ideal candidate will have both research and coordinator experience. Familiarity with interviewing patients and obtaining informed consent is also paramount. Priority is given to those who are familiar with clinical trials (protocol, eligibility criteria, schedule of activities, adverse events, reporting of adverse events, etc...). This position would be a great fit for someone who would like to commit to long-term research goals or a foreign medical graduate who would like to join research. Position is hybrid; however, will need to be on-site for at least 4 days a week and depending on the clinics and research patients' schedules.
