About The Position

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Research Coordinator to manage data collection and management for oncology clinical trials. This role involves working closely with Clinical Trials Office Leadership and various research staff to ensure effective operations and adherence to quality standards. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The Research Coordinator will also contribute to cross-functional teams and maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years general research experience, or
  • Associate’s degree plus 5 years clinical research experience, or
  • High School diploma/GED plus 7 years clinical research experience for Level I.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years general research experience with demonstrated proficiency for Level II.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years clinical research experience with demonstrated proficiency and required certifications for Level III.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data collection and management for oncology clinical trials.
  • Organize complex projects and ensure effective workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical and hospital staff.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and objectives in support of assigned trial portfolio.
  • Contribute information and ideas as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards for staff/program and self.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations and the code of conduct for human research.
