About The Position
The research coordinator will work with research teams in the Departments of Medicine and Surgery as well as the clinic team at the Vanderbilt Weight Loss Clinic. Work locations include 2525 West End Ave, Medical Research Building, and One Hundred Oaks Vanderbilt Clinic. The research coordinator will be responsible for patient screening, contact and consent, and follow-up (via phone call, email, and REDCap texting); REDCap data entry and management; human biospecimen (blood, stool, and tissue) processing and biobanking; study IRB documents maintenance and update; and lab supply purchase and maintenance.
